Volleyball Finishes Season Undeteatd in Cal Pac
Menlo College hosted the Hawks tonight in the final match of the Cal Pac Conference season for both teams. Regardless of the night's outcome, Holy Names already clinched the Cal Pac Championship and will depart for the east coast this week to compete in a "qualifying match" against the winner of the American Mideast Conference. The winner of this match will stamp their ticket to the NAIA National Championships. Tonight the Hawks chopped down the Oaks 3-0.

HNU Volleyball Celebrates their Seniors & Claims the Cal Pac Conference Title
In Tobin Gym with a crowd of supporters celebrating seniors; Kayla Coleman, Samantha Miller, Ashley Nickell, and Cheyenne Hambey the Holy Names University Hawks beat UC Merced to clinch the 2011 Cal Pac Conference Champions title for the second consecutive year in a row. The Red and Black took the Bobcats 3-0.

After a two hour delay and an earthquake the HNU women's volleyball team took 3 games from the Pacific Union College Pioneers. Holy Names defeated PUC 25-17, 25-17, and 25-16.

Hit Twice and Bounced Back to Take Three
Holy Names Hawks took out Notre Dame de Namur after they started with a two set lead 25-21 and 25-12. HNU claimed victory winning the final 3 sets, 16-25, 23-25 and 13-15. The Argos quickly took the first two sets but surrendered the final three to the Hawk squad.

In front of a crowd of over 300, Holy Names University met up with rivals, the Menlo College Oaks tonight, battling it out to maintain the solo position of 1st place in the Cal Pac Conference. HNU maintained their domination copping the Oaks 3-0.

HNU's women's volleyball remains undefeated as they beat up on Simpson University Saturday, Oct. 1 away from home. Although the Red Hawks kept the Black and Red on their in the second match the Hawks came out on top winning 3 straight games (25-19,27-25,25-15).

Hawks Beat the Urban Knights for the First Time in the History of the Volleyball Program
Holy Names beat the Urban Knights tonight in a thrilling 5 game match. This is the first time in the history of HNU's volleyball program that the Red and White were able to beat out the Knights. Both teams came into the match victorious on 4 game winning streaks.
