The list pulled the top 18 athletes from the Golden State, Frontier, and California Pacific Athletic Conferences. Two Holy Names' seniors were named to the group, catcher, Rachael Martinez and pitcher, Stephani Fairclough.

Two of these women were Holy Names' student athletes, senior Lacey Parodi and junior Allison Snider.

August 18, 2011 | Softball Thuer will Guide the Hawks After four seasons Holy Names University's softball program will have a new head coach, Lisa R. Thuer a native of St. Louis, Missouri was recently hired by the Director of Athletics, Dennis Jones. Thuer replaces Melanie Gregor, who had been with the team four consecutive seasons leading them to two NAIA national appearances since their inaugural season in 2008.
| Softball Hawks Sweep Lions The Hawks traveled to Tucson, Arizona to compete in the Tucson Invitational Games, Home of Collegiate Spring Training. The Hawks met up with Hope International University's Lions for a two bill match-up. HNU swept the Lions giving up only two runs in both games.
