OAKLAND, CA - Francisco Gomez not only lead the men's and women's cross country programs to attain the conference championship title, but also pushed the men's team to achieve this title two consecutive years. Today Holy Names' Director of Athletics, Dennis Jones announced that Gomez has decided to pursue a new path, leaving the teams and HNU's athletics department to search for a new coach to continue in his success.

Vancouver, WA - Holy Names University Women's Cross Country team traveled to the border between Oregon and Washington to race against the best runners in the country in the 2010 NAIA Cross Country Nationals, hosted in Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, the lady hawks placed 28th in the team standings with a total of 888 points, the NAIA consist of 220 schools on the women's side nationwide.
