Oakland, CA - Over the last four years the Hawks golf program has been pretty successful. They have won three California Pacific Conference titles; have appeared in three National tournaments. Coach Stone was a great part of those four years as Coach Hutton's right hand man. Now it is time for Coach Stone to step into the main role and continue the success of the program.

Oakland, CA - At the end of the month the Hawks will say fair-well to Greg Hutton, our Men's Golf Coach. The Hawks will miss Coach Hutton as he leaves a high standard in the program and has left big shoes to fill.

Junior Stephen Edman and Senior Garrett True Were Named NAIA All-Americans
Kansas City, MO. - On Monday the NAIA released the 2010
Men's Golf All-American teams and for the first time in school history,
HNU had
two golfers on the list. Senior
Garrett True and Junior Stephen Edman became the 2nd and 3rd
HNU golfers to be added to the list of All-Americans.
"This is a great day for the program," said coach Greg
Hutton. "Earlier this morning the team got to meet with the board of
trustees,
and later in the afternoon I got to call Garrett on his way home for the
summer
and give him the news."

Senior Garrett True Caps Off a Great Final Year with a 6th Place Finish
Silvis, Ill - As the 2010 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship
wrapped up Friday, HNU finished fifth place. No. 1-ranked Oklahoma City
won the championship, shooting a 288 today to finish with an 1,184, five
strokes ahead of last year's champ Oklahoma Christian.
The Hawks shot a 292 in the fourth and final round of the national
tournament carding a 1,195 (296-302-305-292) for the 72-hole tournament.

Senior Garrett True Leads the Way for Hawks Carding a First Round 72
Silvis, Ill - Holy Names University combined for a first-round 296 in the NAIA men's golf championships Tuesday at TPC Deere Run. Senior Garrett True fired a 72 to lead the fifth-ranked Hawks. HNU sits five strokes behind defending national champion Oklahoma Christian. The Hawks will begin round-two play Wednesday at 12:30pm.
