        <description>&lt;STRONG&gt;Oakland, CA -&lt;/STRONG&gt; In a game that was supposed to be a battle last night, turn out to be a display of great team defense by the Hawks. At stake was a bid to the national tournament in Sioux City, Iowa, but someone forgot to tell Menlo. The Oaks were close for the first ten minutes of the game as it would be tied at 10 points apiece. Menlo would only score 4 points in the last 10 minutes of the first half and go down 29-14. The second half would be more of the same and the Hawks would take home the victory 59-40.</description>

For Larisa it was more of a player/coach position as she ended her season earlier in the year when she had ACL reconstruction, but for Katie Stiles it was a great night. Stiles led the Hawks tonight with 16 points and 7 rebounds, and a victory over the Pioneers of Pacific Union 78-35.</description>

Downs Golf Course in Bonsall.&amp;nbsp; Winning the tournament, the hawks led after every round and finished with a
three-round team total of 868.&amp;nbsp; Cal Baptist took second with an 883,
and CSU San Bernardino placed third with an 892.&lt;br /&gt;</description>

The Hawks seemed to have forgotten what got them to an impressive 7-1 record.</description>
