Dwight Combs - Head Coach - 3rd Season
Dwight Combs has been Head Coach for both Men's & Women's volleyball since 2008. He manages all team practices & contests, contest scheduling, recruiting, budgeting, and coordinates & supervises all team travel. Coach Combs also directs summer volleyball camps at HNU. Prior to his arrival at HNU, Combs served for eight years as Head Coach of Men's & Women's Volleyball at Los Medanos College and for eight years as Club Director and Head Coach of EastBay Juniors ‘ Volleyball teams.
 
Coach Combs holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education, with a concentration in Exercise Science, from California State University, Sacramento; is Gold Medal Squared certified; and has USA Volleyball Impact Certification.

Colleen Boston - Grad Assistant - 2nd Season

Colleen Boston enters her third season as a Graduate Assistant with the Women's Volleyball program.

 

Boston played all four years with the Hawks and was a Team Captain her sophomore, junior, and senior year. She was a part of the squad in 2008 when they won the Cal Pac Conference.  Coach Boston was an Honorable Mention Conference Player her freshman year, a second team conference pick her sophomore year, and a First Team All Conference Player her last two years.  She was named the Region II Libero of the Week and was in contention for the National Libero of the Week her senior year.

 

Boston graduated from HNU in 2009, receiving her B.A. in Liberal Studies. She is currently pursuing her Multiple Subject Credential and Maters in Education, while working at a local Public School. She also coaches club volleyball and will be entering her eight season with Xceleration Volleyball Club in the fall.

 

Colleen currently resides in Oakland, CA.

Jennifer Perkins - Grad Assistant - 3rd Season

Coach Jennifer Perkins enters her third year as a Graduate Assistant with the Women's Volleyball program. Jennifer played volleyball and was the captain for Holy Names University for four years from 2004-2008. This will be her third year coaching with Dwight Combs.

 

Jennifer Perkins graduated in May 2008 receiving her B.A. in Liberal Studies and minor in mathematics. She is now pursing her Multiple Subject Credential, and Masters in Education degree while working as a Graduate Enrollment Counselor in the Admissions Department at Holy Names University.
