Dennis Jones - Head Coach - 6th Season
Coach Dennis Jones enters his sixth year at the helm of the Men's Basketball program following an impressive seven year stint with the Holy Names Women's Program which he turned into a perennial NAIA power. Jones spent the first of 7 straight championship years as the women's top assistant before taking over the reins and leading Holy Names to six Cal Pac titles and six trips to the NAIA Div. II National Tournament. The Lady Hawks spent the majority of those six years in the Nation's Top 25 culminating with back to back appearances in the tournament's "Sweet Sixteen". Jones posted a 161-42 record over his six seasons including an impressive 86-4 mark in Cal Pac play.

In just his second season as Head Men's Basketball Coach, Jones guided the Hawks to a 23-11 record and a berth in the 2006 NAIA II National Tournament. The National tournament appearance ended a five year absence by the Hawks. Holy Names began the 2006-2007 season ranked #9 in the NAIA II Preseason poll. After a slow start the Hawks turned it around by winning 18 of their final 19 games, including 14 straight Cal Pac Contests. The strong finish helped propel HNU to their second straight National Tournament Appearance and first Conference title in 7 years.

Jones looks to rebound from a tough year last year - 7-24 overall and 5-11 in conference.
