Ashley Nickell from the back row!
Rocklin, CA - After getting past the Pioneers the Hawks look to do the same to the Warriors. Unfortunately, the Warriors had other plans. Hawks fell to the Warriors in five games - 25-12, 20-25, 11-25, 25-19, 12-15.
Leading the Warrior on the night was Jennifer McNamara who on the night had 14 kills on 48 attempts and 17 digs. Setter Morgan Saunders managed to lead the game with 35 assists.

For the Hawks, Rebecca Chase had 11 kills on 32 attempts and 17 assist and 9 digs. Nickell and Coleman had 44 of the teams 80 digs. Natalie Kasbarian managed to dish out 23 assists.

After beating the Warriors at Home in four the Hawks seemed as though they were still trying to get back on track from the team illness. Nonetheless they managed to get to five games against the Warriors and have a chance to get out with a win.

Since, this was not the case the Hawks did manage to keep sole possession of second place. This is important as the Hawks might potentially be facing the Warriors in the Conference Tournament. If the Hawks dropped to third and both Jessup and Holy Names won, the Hawks would be travelling to Rocklin again to face the Warriors. Luckily, the Hawks are in second and will be hosting a play-off game on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 7:00 pm at home against the Pioneers of PUC.

Come out and support your Hawks!!!
