The Bruins started off the scoring trend for the game shortly into the first half when the ball deflected off a shingaurd of a Bruin and ended up in the back of the net. The Hawks didn't allow the Bruins to lead for long however, Nikol Molano received a pass through the defense from Brittanie Perez, took a shot and tied the game 1-1. The next goal came from defender Kestrel Colomb who took a long shot from way outside the box dropping the ball in behind the Bruin Keeper. Bitta Sadeghy had the third goal of the first half with a beautiful power shot to the back of the net making the score 3-1.

The fourth goal was scored in the second half after Monique Reyes slotted the ball across the six-yard box where Negine Mansour was waiting to slide it in. Erika Udell launched the ball into the top corner of the net for the fifth goal after receiving a pass from Senior Captain Jessica Gottschalk. Gottschalk then went on to get herself a goal after Negine Mansour crossed the ball into the box and found Gottschalk's head. The last goal of the game came when Alyssa Magana crossed the ball into the box and Monique Reyes tapped it into the bottom corner making the final score of the game 7-1 Hawks.
