Oakland, CA - The First place Hawks fought hard to a 2-0 loss to William Jessup in Oakland, Ca on Saturday Afternoon. It looked as though the Hawks had the edge in the beginning moments of the game then William Jessup fought back with high presser to disrupt the Hawks. 
The warriors began to get there rhythm in the last minds of the first half sending shoot after shot to the Hawks goalkeeper Sabel Maguire. In the 39th min William Jessup took a long shot from outside the 18 box that chipped the keep to go up 1-0 at half time.
 
In the second half the Hawks battled back and forth with warriors with break a-way chances but couldn't convert. The Hawks' gave up the ball in the 77th minute and William Jessup took a shoot 30 yards out to again Chip the keeper to go up 2-0. From here, the intensity of the game overwhelmed both sides of the match with foul after foul. In the closing minutes the hawks found the warriors weakness and began to get crosses off into the box, but could not finish.
 
The Hawks are 4-1 in conference play and have another match against Westminster tomorrow at 11 am at Mills College. Game Time is 11AM.
