OAKLAND, California - The Holy Names University women's basketball team took to the court on Saturday, Jan. 14th against the Simpson University, Red Hawks. The Hawks pushed out Simpson 93-75. 
Holy Names was just too hot to handle for the Red Hawks. They shot 50 percent from the field, which made the difference in this game. The Red Hawks were only able to convert on 41 percent of their attempts.
 
Names' center Yesenia Garzon led her team with 14 points. Soulijah Evans contributed 12 more for the Hawks in the winning effort. The win pushes the Hawks to 3-0 in the Cal Pac.
 
Up next for the Hawks will be CSU Maritime on Thursday, January 19, 2012.
