Both teams tackled one another battling out the first match. The point score traveled back and forth between both institutions until Holy Names came out on top. In the 2^nd game the Pioneers found themselves on top with a score of 5-1. After a time out called by Coach Combs, the Hawks climbed their way back to the top scoring 6 service points and then fought to 25. The Red and Black attacked in the final game winning 25-16.

 Senior, Samantha Miller led her team with 16 kills.

Holy Names will play Simpson University next Friday, October 28 at home.
