Oakland, CA- Holy Names University senior Brittanie Perez had two shots, a goal and an assist in the Hawks' two matches in Hawaii last week and was selected as the California Pacific Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the dates of August 29th through September 4th, 2011.
Perez, a native of Bellflower, California, had two shots, both of which were on goal, one goal and an assist in the Hawks' 1-1 week. Holy Names lost 3-0 to BYU Hawaii in Laie on Tuesday and on Wednesday they won 3-1 over Chaminade University in Honolulu.
The Hawks have three matches this week. They will take on Vanguard University in Costa Mesa this afternoon, then will play Azusa Pacific University in Azusa on Wednesday and will finish up the week on Sunday with a match against Southern Oregon University in Ashland.
