Oakland, CA - The Hawks faced a rival opponent in Oaks on Friday night. Over the years this has developed with the same intensity as a Hawks vs. Penguin match-up.
The Hawks came out strong with a lot of energy in the first game winning 25-13. However, they were not able to hold on to the win in games 2, 3 and 4. The Hawks lose 3-1.
 
Holy Names University loses their first league match to Menlo.
 
Ashley Nickell lead the Hawks with 11 Kills, Rebecca Chase 9, and Ariel Carmichael with 8 kills. Mariah Christensen had 17 assists and Natalie Kasbarian also chipped in 15 assists.
 
The Hawks will compete against Bethany University Saturday, September 26th at 5:00pm.
