With cold windy weather early Saturday evening, the Hawks were unable to warm up and beat the Warriors. Holy Names struggled to come back after Westmont scored a goal with less than two minutes left in the first half. While Holy Names had great defense, their offense struggled to get into good shooting range. The Hawks ended the half with just 6 shots while Westmont had 10. 

The second half proved to be no different for the Hawks. While they were able to take more shots and prevented Westmont from scoring another goal, they still struggled to score a goal of their own. In the end, Holy Names was unable to come back. Sabel McGuire ended the game with 6 goalie saves.

The Hawks travel to Atherton, California for their next match up against Menlo College at 3 pm September25th.
