The game remained scoreless until the top of the sixth inning when Samantha Fisher hit a two run home run that scored Jordynn Elwood, who had singled in front of her. The seventh inning started on a single by Rachel Martinez, Amanda Carnero was inserted to run for Susan Robertson then singled, Melanie Verrico was inserted to run for Robertson. Jordynn Elwood worked a walk to load the bases. Samantha Fisher came up and promptly doubled to score Carnero and Verrico. Next, Taryn Thomas walked loading the bases for Allison Snider who took the first pitch she saw and promptly drove it over the left field fence for a grand slam home run. Samantha Fisher had three hits on the day, scored two runs and had 4 RBI's. Allison Snider had two hits, scored a run and had 4 RBI's. The Hawks pummeled Menlo in those to innings to win the game 8-0.
Game two found a worthy pitching effort from Markie Benavides-Talbott, combined with dependable Hawks defense and reliable offense to be a game winner. Benavides-Talbott went the whole game giving up only one run on 8 hits while striking out 6. The offense was led by Laurel Clough and Rachael Martinez, each with two hits and two RBI's.. Taryn Thomas and Allison Snider also had two hits and scored a run. Jessica Merriam contributed a triple and two runs scored. The final score against the Menlo Oaks was 6-1.
