In the fifth Ferguson doubled and was driven home by Taryn Thomas' double. Thomas then scored on an error to tie the game at 3-3. The game went 8 innings and was ended on a walk off home run by AAU. Markie Benavides-Talbot pitched a solid game but had to take a hard defeat, with the final score of 4-3.

In the second game pitcher Stephani Fairclough shut down AAU on a two hitter, striking out 10. Melanie Verrico scored the first run in the 3rd inning when she singled, moved up on a single by Allison Snider and then scored on a single by Alexis Moctezuma. The winning run was scored by Laurel Clough after a walk to lead off the 6th inning. She was sacrificed to 2nd on a sacrifice bunt by Susan Robertson. Clough then scored on a single by Kara Ferguson. Defensively, Moctezuma denied a homerun on a catch over the fence in the 6th, denying a tie by AAU. Kara Ferguson went 4-6 on the day with a run scored and 2 RBI's to lead the way for the Hawks come back and a 2-1 win.
