The Holy Names University Women's Cross Country competed at the Mills College Invitational this past Saturday. The spectator-friendly course was packed with over 200 competitors.
Women's 5K: The Holy Names University Women's Cross Country competed at the Mills College Invitational this past Saturday. The spectator-friendly course was packed with over 200 competitors.
 
Leading the Hawks was sophomore Heiti Larsen who finished 24th with a time of 22:15. Larsen was followed by Maricruz Espindola (27th, 22:26), Chenique Jackson (35th, 23:03), Jenna Pasillas (44th, 23:45), Laura Crabtree (48th, 24:02), Katy Anklam (55th, 24:52). Also running for the Hawks was senior Alicia Torres (70th, 27:10) and freshman Veronica Cuevas (80th, 29:36). The Hawks finished 5th with 109 points behind San Francisco State (20), De Anza College (74), Mills College (77), and Cal State Monterey Bay (106).
