Oakland, CA - Suman Bains scores a game high 13 points for Holy Names University as the Hawks dominated the short handed Bruins 82-48.
The win gives the Hawks a three game winning streak. The Hawks who shot 39% from the field, 25% from the arch and 75% from the free throw line were able to hold the Bruins to only 13 makes on the game.

The Hawks would jump out to a 6-0 run to start the game. The Bruins would respond with a 5-0 run of their own, unfortunately this would be as close as the bruins would get as the Hawks closed out the half 34-17 and go into half time with an 18 point lead.

The first five minutes of the second half found the Hawks and Bruins exchanging bucks. At the 15:00 mark the Hawks would pull away and go on a 12-2 run to increase their lead to 30 points. The Bruins would attempt to cut the lead, but the Hawks constant pressure was too much in the end for the short-handed Bruins.

The Bruins were led by Stephanie Caldwell with 10 points.

The Hawks finished with 4 in double figures. Leading the pack was Suman Bains with 13 points. Britany Potestio chipped in with 11 points and Jamie-Leigh Ronolo and Katie Stiles finished with 10 points each.

With the win the Hawks move to 10-9 overall and 2-0 in California Pacific Conferene play.
