Oakland, CA - The Hawks come off a ten day break losing two in the Los Vegas Hoopla. From the start the Hawks would battle the bulldogs of Concordia University - Nebraska, but in the end the Hawks take home the victory 49-42. 
This game found the Hawks and the Bulldogs struggling to score. Half way into the first half it would be the Bulldogs leading the Hawks 6-11. The Bulldogs would control the lead for most of the first half and at times being up as much as 8. The Hawks would battle back and by the end of the first half the Hawks would cut the Bulldog's lead to 1 (20-21).
 
The second half began with Hawks' Lesley Vodiscka turning the ball over and the Bulldogs' TaLisa Krecji capitalizing with a jumper, putting the Bulldogs back up by 3. The Bulldogs would hold the lead until the 12:31 mark when Jamie-Leigh Ronolo's field goal ties at the game at 31 a piece. After this possession the Hawks would not look back increasing their lead as much as 8 in the half and taking home the victory.
 
Leading the Bulldogs was Katie Rich with 10 points and eight rebounds. Katie Rich would be the only one to score in double figures.
 
For the Hawks it was Jamie-Leigh Ronolo who led the Hawks with a game high 13 points and 4 rebounds.
 
With the win the Hawks move to 8-9 on the year.
 
The Hawks will have a 9 day break before opening up their first conference game against the Oaks of Menlo College on January 7, 2009 in Tobin Gymnasium.
