Oakland, CA - Holy Names (11-0-0, 22 points) has clinched the Cal Pac men's soccer championship following a 3-0 win at second place Pacific Union. The Hawks have won 44 straight Cal Pac men's soccer contests dating back to 2005.
HNU is 13-2-2 overall and headed back to the NAIA national championships. PUC, still enjoying its best season in memory, is 8-3-1.

The Hawks are lead by thier defense who on the year have allowed .85 goals/game this year. The defense was lead by junior standout Shea Whelan who has done a great job, after losing freshman Cal Pac Defender of the Year last year Chris Williams.

On the offensive, Mustafa Celik led the country in scoring for about 90 percent of the year. This is in great part to the surrounding cast around Mustafa which includes senior Jonathan Tigaka, junior Roberto Zevallos, and sophomore Jesus Hernadez to name a few.

Regular season play concludes next week as they take on William Jessup University.
