Belmont, Ca - The Men's Cross Country team traveled to Belmont to compete at the first annual Notre Dame de Namur Battle of the Bay Invitational, on the hilly course of Crystal Springs. Holy Names Men's team finished in 3rd place with a team score of 70, only four points away from 2nd place De Anza College, San Jose State took the win with a team score of 17.
Fernando Diaz was Holy Names top runner finishing 7th overall in a time of 22:54, Diaz was followed by teammate Zach Holt who finished in a time 23:23 good for 13th place, Edrian Luna was the next finisher for the hawks in 20th place with a time of 23:43, Luna was followed by David Rios who finished 26th in a time of 24:29, rounding the top five for the hawks was Juan Monje who finished 29th in a time of 25:19.
