Oakland, Ca - The Women's Cross Country team competed against Mills in a 1 Mile Scrimmage on the campus of Mills College, covering the last mile of the championship course for this years' Cal Pac. The lady hawks line up at the start line, with a crew of nine runners, all with same mindset to compete and show their strengths.From the start Agnes Silvestro kept a solid position, her hard pace throughout the race soon left a gap between her and second place. This led Silvestro to cruise in for the easy win in a time of 6:03.87. Following her, teammate Erica Sandoval who made a good surge at the end against a Mills runner claimed second place. On the Men's side they did a workout on the 5 Mile course in preparation for the Mills Invitational and Cal Pac later this season.
